Jeff Rothschild, Vice Chair of Vanderbilt University’s Board of Trust, and his wife, Marieke Rothschild, have committed $25 million to establish the Rothschild Fellows Program at Vanderbilt’s San Francisco campus. This program is designed for top students in Vanderbilt’s College of Connected Computing, offering cohort-based immersions that combine rigorous computer science coursework with hands-on industry experience. The Rothschilds' gift aims to provide students with real-world learning opportunities in San Francisco, a hub for technology and entrepreneurship. Chancellor Daniel Diermeier highlighted that this gift will redefine how leaders are prepared for the 21st century by integrating immersive learning and industry partnerships. The program builds on the momentum of Vanderbilt’s San Francisco campus, enhancing the university's capacity to connect students and faculty with world-class opportunities and partners in the innovation ecosystem.
