NASA's Artemis II 'Rise' Plushie Now Available for Purchase
NASA has released the 'Rise' plush toy, which served as the zero-g indicator for the Artemis II mission, for sale through the NASA Exchange. Designed by nine-year-old Lucas Ye from California, the plushie was inspired by the iconic 'Earthrise' photo from the Apollo 8 mission. The toy, which features a cap resembling Earth rising over the moon, is now available as a collectible, with proceeds supporting NASA's employee morale activities. The plushie replicates the design used during the mission, including a cap with a star field forming the Orion constellation, a nod to the Orion spacecraft. The official version of the plushie is priced at $24.99, with additional merchandise such as patches, pins, and apparel also available.
