Certain agricultural burning, specifically for orchard prunings, windblown tumbleweeds, or other vegetation along fence lines, irrigation canals, or drainage ditches, does not require a permit, and burning hours are not restricted. Those undertaking agricultural burning must inform the Benton Clean Air Agency and their local fire department. The Benton Clean Air Agency is responsible for enforcing Federal and State Clean Air Acts and BCAA Regulation 1 in Benton County.
