Russian Forces Down Portuguese Drone Used by Ukrainian Army in Bryansk
Russian forces have successfully intercepted and shot down a Portuguese-made Tekever AR3 drone, which was reportedly being used by the Ukrainian army. The incident occurred in the Bryansk region, a border area, where a Russian anti-drone battalion engaged the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The commander of the unit described the drone as having a unique structure, which was unfamiliar to them. The drone was brought down intact, with only the engine damaged, and has been handed over to a research institute for further study. The Tekever AR3 is known for its advanced reconnaissance capabilities, including a wingspan of nearly 4 meters and a communication range of up to 230 km. This interception highlights the ongoing tensions and technological engagements between Russian and Ukrainian forces.
