Prince Harry and his co-claimants, including Elton John and Doreen Lawrence, face a significant financial burden after losing a privacy lawsuit against the Daily Mail's publisher, Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL). The lawsuit, which accused ANL of unlawful information gathering, was dismissed by a judge at London's High Court. ANL is seeking an interim payment of nearly $13.3 million to cover legal costs, while the claimants have offered a lower payment. The court heard that the claimants' insurance may not fully cover the legal expenses, leaving them with a substantial shortfall.
