DOF Secures $2 Billion Petrobras Contracts for Brazil Deepwater Operations
DOF Group ASA has been awarded nearly $2 billion in long-term contracts by Petrobras for the construction and operation of four new ROV support vessels (RSVs) to support subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair operations offshore Brazil. These 12-year contracts, resulting from a competitive tender process, will commence in 2030 and involve the construction of vessels at Brazil's Navship yard. The RSVs, designed for deepwater operations, will feature hybrid propulsion systems and accommodations for up to 58 personnel. The contracts are part of DOF's strategy to renew its fleet with environmentally friendly vessels, highlighting the company's role as a leader in subsea services in Brazil.
