Pew Survey: U.S. Adults Prefer Healthcare Providers for Accurate Information
A Pew Research Center survey reveals that 85% of U.S. adults still rely on healthcare providers for accurate health information, despite the growing use of AI chatbots. The survey, which included 5,111 U.S. adults, identified healthcare providers as the most trusted source, with 65% of respondents rating the information as extremely or very accurate. Other sources include people with similar health issues, major health websites, and social media. The survey highlights the challenges consumers face in assessing the accuracy of health information, with many reporting conflicting information from different sources.
