Detroit High School Students Participate in Construction Academy for Hands-On Learning
More than 100 high school students from Detroit have swapped their traditional classroom settings for practical experience at the Sachse Construction Academy. This initiative allows students to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, equipping them with skills that are directly applicable to real-world jobs. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of construction work, including safety protocols, tool usage, and project management. By engaging in this program, students are exposed to potential career paths in the construction sector, which is a significant industry in Detroit and across the United States.
