A p-hailing motorcycle rider, Muhammad Hakimin A Samah, 24, died in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Melaka, Malaysia. The incident occurred on Lebuh AMJ Semabok, heading towards Bandar Melaka, when his Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle veered off course and collided with a tree on the road divider. Authorities confirmed that the rider sustained severe injuries to his head, body, and legs, leading to his death at the scene. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased before his body was transported to the Melaka Hospital Forensics Unit for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. The police are currently investigating the crash under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. This incident occurred near an area where a video of alleged illegal street racing had circulated on Facebook earlier that morning, though police have stated this particular accident is not linked to those activities.
