Driver in Custody After Vehicle Hits Crowd at Louisiana Lao New Year Festival
In New Iberia, Louisiana, a driver was taken into custody after a vehicle slammed into a crowd during the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival parade. The incident occurred on April 4, and emergency services responded promptly. According to Acadian Ambulance, 15 people were injured, with 13 transported to hospitals, including four in critical condition. The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office stated that the act did not appear intentional, and the vehicle was found in a ditch near the parade route.
