Squeeze Cancels Virginia Concert Following Fatal Tour Bus Accident at Wolf Trap
The band Squeeze canceled their concert at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia, after a worker died in an accident involving a tour bus. The incident occurred in the venue's parking lot when a supporting apparatus failed, causing the bus to collapse on the worker who was underneath it. The identity of the worker has not been released. Squeeze expressed deep sadness and shock over the incident, stating that the decision to cancel the performance was made after discussions with the venue and relevant authorities. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts also confirmed the tragic loss of life and the cancellation of the show out of respect for the deceased. Squeeze is currently on a U.S. tour, with upcoming performances scheduled in Ohio and Illinois. Their most recent album, 'Trixies,' was released in March.
