Measles Cases Confirmed in Grant County, Wisconsin, Bordering Dubuque Area
Two cases of measles have been confirmed in Grant County, Wisconsin, a region adjacent to the Dubuque, Iowa, area, according to KCRG Staff. These cases, announced on Tuesday, have been traced back to a larger outbreak in southwest Wisconsin, which has already seen 36 confirmed cases. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Grant County Health Department are actively engaged in notifying individuals who may have been exposed to the highly contagious disease. As of now, no specific public exposure locations have been identified. This development follows Iowa's recent confirmation of additional measles cases within its state on Monday, indicating a broader regional concern regarding the spread of the virus.
