Divine, a new video app, has launched as an AI-free platform, reviving the spirit of the defunct Vine app. Co-founded by Evan Henshaw-Plath, Divine offers a space for authentic video content, free from AI-generated material. The app includes over 500,000 archived Vine videos and new content, aiming to provide a nostalgic yet modern social media experience. Divine employs 'proof mode' technology to verify the authenticity of videos, ensuring that only genuine content is shared. This initiative addresses concerns over AI's impact on social media, promoting a more human-centric digital environment.
