ReCenter Indiana Launches Ad Campaign Encouraging Young Hoosiers to Vote
ReCenter Indiana, a nonpartisan nonprofit group, has launched a six-week advertising campaign featuring young Hoosiers encouraging their peers to vote. The campaign, which began on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, aims to boost voter participation among 18- to 24-year-olds in Marion, Hamilton, and Boone counties. The video ads, recorded during Indiana primary voting in May, show young adults sharing their personal experiences and feelings about the voting process, emphasizing its ease and the importance of having their voices heard. The campaign avoids mentioning specific candidates or political parties and is projected to generate over 1.5 million impressions across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and connected TV services, supported by a $50,000 grant from the Glick Fund, as reported by Niki Kelly.
