Warren County Golf Course Fire Disrupts Operations, Affects Local Golfers
The Armco Park Golf Course in Warren County experienced a significant disruption after a fire damaged the golf cart barn, destroying the carts and equipment inside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The fire, which occurred earlier today, has led to the temporary closure of the course. However, the course is expected to reopen on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, albeit with some limitations. Golfers will need to walk the course or bring their own carts, as the park district works on acquiring replacement carts and setting up temporary storage. Matt Latham, the executive director of the Warren County Park District, expressed gratitude that the damage was confined to the cart barn and emphasized the district's commitment to resuming operations swiftly.
