Columbia Police Seek Missing Military Veteran, Advise Public Not to Approach
Police in Columbia, South Carolina, are searching for Keith Lynch, a military veteran who was last seen leaving his home on Enoree Avenue on August 22. At the time of his disappearance, Lynch was wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and black Crocs. Home video footage also shows him carrying what appeared to be a black duffel bag. Authorities have reported that a weapon is also missing from his residence. Family members have expressed concerns regarding Lynch's well-being, prompting the Columbia Police Department to issue a public advisory. Due to these concerns and the missing weapon, the police are urging the public to exercise caution and explicitly advise against approaching or confronting Lynch if he is sighted. Instead, they request that anyone who sees him immediately contact law enforcement with his location and any other relevant information.
