Single-Engine Plane Crashes in Lake Stevens Residential Area, Pilot Seriously Injured
A single-engine plane crashed into a residential yard near Frontier Air Park in Lake Stevens, Washington. The incident occurred around 6:05 p.m. near the 11000 block of 127th Avenue NE. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, sustained serious injuries and was trapped inside the plane. Emergency crews, including Getchell firefighters who were already in the vicinity for an unrelated medical call, responded to the scene. Neighbors provided initial first aid to the pilot before rescue teams arrived to extricate the individual. The injured pilot was subsequently transported to an area trauma center for medical attention. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has initiated an investigation into the crash, and authorities have stated that there is no ongoing risk to the community following the incident.
