Mercy Corps Seeks MEAL Assistant for Solar-Powered Agro-Processing Project in Kassala
Mercy Corps is currently seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Assistant for its Solar-Powered Agro-Processing for Economic Livelihoods (SEAL) project in Kassala. This project, funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), aims to enhance livelihoods, economic resilience, and food security in rural communities within Kassala State. The initiative focuses on adopting solar-powered agro-processing solutions, strengthening value addition, and improving market linkages for smallholder farmers and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Key activities include the installation of solar-powered milling and drying equipment, capacity building for local technicians and entrepreneurs, business grants, and market access facilitation. The MEAL Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day MEAL functions of the SEAL project, ensuring the generation, verification, and utilization of reliable evidence on project performance and results.
