Denver Airport Incident: Man Struck by Frontier Airlines Plane in Apparent Suicide
A tragic incident occurred at Denver International Airport when a man, identified as 41-year-old Michael Mott, was struck and killed by a Frontier Airlines jet. The incident happened after Mott jumped a perimeter fence at the airport, and officials have ruled his death a suicide. The Frontier Flight 4345, an Airbus A321, was departing for Los Angeles with 224 passengers and seven crew members when the incident occurred. The pilot reported hitting someone and an engine fire ensued, leading to smoke filling the cabin. Twelve passengers were injured during the evacuation, with five hospitalized.
