Dubai Tourism Chief Asserts Safety Amidst Regional Conflict
Dubai's tourism chief has publicly stated that the emirate remains safe and open for business despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The UAE has made sharing footage of attacks on its soil a criminal offense, resulting in the arrest of at least 35 individuals. In a video shared on Instagram, the tourism chief emphasized Dubai's stability and the scaling back up of operations, including flights and hospitality services. Despite some flight cancellations, major airlines like Emirates and flydubai are resuming operations. The tourism sector, however, has been severely impacted, with some businesses experiencing significant revenue drops due to the conflict.
