Elbit Systems and TKMS Sign Agreement to Enhance Israel-Germany Maritime Defense Collaboration
Elbit Systems, an Israeli defense electronics company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with German submarine manufacturer TKMS to expand their collaborative efforts in maritime defense. This agreement aims to advance technological capabilities and strengthen strategic ties between Israel and Germany. Elbit Systems has been active in Germany for several years, providing key maritime products such as electronic warfare systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and sonar systems. The collaboration will focus on leveraging the technological strengths and operational experience of both companies to meet the evolving needs of maritime forces. Elbit Systems also manufactures structural parts for submarines for TKMS in Israel and has previously supplied systems to the German Navy.
