Waymo and Waze Collaborate to Address Pothole Repairs in U.S. Cities
Waymo, an autonomous vehicle company, is partnering with navigation software maker Waze to address pothole repairs in U.S. cities. Waymo's autonomous vehicles will identify potholes as they navigate urban areas, and Waze's software will record these locations, providing local governments with data to facilitate repairs. This initiative is part of Waze for Cities, a service with global partners, including in the U.S. The collaboration aims to improve road safety and infrastructure maintenance by leveraging technology to identify and address road issues more efficiently.
