BASICS App Offers Therapist-Created Plans for Autism and Speech Therapy Support
The BASICS app provides therapist-created plans for speech therapy, autism support, occupational therapy, oral motor skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), and social skills. Developed by a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavioral therapists, special educators, and child psychologists, the app aims to bring professional therapy sessions into the home environment. Parents can answer a few questions to receive personalized developmental goals and access simple, daily activities designed to fit into everyday moments like play and meals. Each activity includes a demo video, step-by-step guidance, parent prompts, and therapist tips.
