She accessorized with diamond drop earrings, a small black clutch, and pointed black heels, with her blonde hair styled in an updo. Prince Albert II wore a black tuxedo. The gala included performances by Christina Aguilera, Plácido Domingo, and Sister Sledge, with Monica Bellucci and Richard Gere as guests of honor. Chef Yannick Alléno prepared the dinner menu, and Simon de Pury led an auction.
