Pro-Palestinian Flotilla Departs Barcelona Amid Stormy Weather Delays
A new pro-Palestinian flotilla, organized by the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), was set to depart from Barcelona to challenge the Israeli blockade of Gaza. However, stormy weather conditions have delayed the flotilla's journey into international waters. The flotilla, consisting of 39 vessels, aims to deliver aid and medical supplies to Gaza and advocate for the end of the Israeli Defense Forces' blockade, which was established in 2007. The flotilla is expected to grow to at least 70 ships with over a thousand participants. Despite the weather delay, the organizers remain committed to their mission, citing moral and ethical responsibilities to act.
