Langham Hospitality Group Expands in China with New Hotels in Xiong'an New Area
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed a management agreement with China Xiong'an Group Public Service Management Company to introduce two of its brands, Cordis Hotels & Resorts and Ying'nFlo, to the Xiong'an New Area in northern China. This area, often referred to as China's 'City of the Future,' is a state-level development aimed at supporting growth in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. The development will host a mix of administrative, commercial, and cultural institutions relocated from Beijing, along with civic amenities and public spaces. The project is part of LHG's strategy to expand its presence in northern China, combining its upscale Cordis brand with the upper-midscale Ying'nFlo brand in a single complex. The complex, scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2028, will feature 180 guestrooms under the Cordis brand and 120 guestrooms under the Ying'nFlo brand.
