Boil Water Advisory Issued for North Jay Water District Residents
The Jay Water District has issued a boil water order for residents in the North Jay Water District due to concerns about water safety. The advisory affects customers living south of Look Brook Circle on Route 4, Route 17, Jerry Street, Old Jay Hill Road, Purrington Road, and Mountain View Road. Residents are advised to boil water for at least one minute before using it for drinking, making ice, washing food, brushing teeth, or any other consumption-related activities. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice as the water district works to resolve the issue.
