C2N Diagnostics Expands Alzheimer’s Blood Test Access in Latin America and Caribbean
C2N Diagnostics, a U.S.-based specialty diagnostics company, has partnered with SouthGenetics to broaden access to its Precivity® blood tests for Alzheimer’s disease assessment in Latin America and the Caribbean. This collaboration aims to support earlier and more accessible Alzheimer’s disease assessment in regions facing aging populations, limited dementia-specialist capacity, and constrained PET imaging infrastructure. The partnership will initially focus on countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Uruguay, and Venezuela, with plans to evaluate additional countries. The Precivity® tests are designed to detect amyloid plaques in the brain, a pathological hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease, aiding healthcare professionals in medical management and treatment decisions.
