Guadalupe County Deputies Fatally Shoot Man Holding Knife to Woman's Neck
In Seguin, Texas, Guadalupe County sheriff's deputies shot and killed a man who was holding a knife to a woman's neck. The incident occurred early Thursday morning after deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies found the man threatening the woman and ordered him to drop the knife. When he refused, deputies opened fire, believing there was an immediate threat to the woman and themselves. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman and deputies were unharmed. The man's identity is being withheld pending family notification, and an investigation is ongoing.
