Couple Arrested for Alleged Home Invasion, Assault, and Dog Theft in Belle Rose
A couple, Alessie Elizabeth Landry, 41, and Thomas James Guillot Jr., 45, have been arrested in Belle Rose, Louisiana, following allegations of home invasion, assault, and dog theft. According to Assumption Parish deputies, the incident occurred on Thursday night when Landry and Guillot allegedly broke into a residence on Millien Drive. Landry is accused of entering the home uninvited, physically assaulting the occupant, and then taking a dog from the premises. Guillot reportedly accompanied Landry during the alleged break-in. Further investigation revealed that Guillot later offered the victim money in an attempt to persuade her to retract her statements to law enforcement. Both individuals were apprehended on Sunday and subsequently booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center. Landry faces charges of home invasion and simple battery and is being held without bond due to parole and probation violations. Guillot has been charged with unauthorized entry and obstruction of justice.
