Ogun State Approves Major Infrastructure Projects and Upgrades Traditional Rulers
The Ogun State Executive Council has sanctioned a series of strategic infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing governance and preserving cultural heritage. These projects include the construction of new legislative quarters, housing schemes, and the reconstruction of the Ogun State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja. Additionally, the council has approved the rehabilitation of major roads across the state to improve connectivity and facilitate economic activities. The road projects span various local government areas, including Odogbolu, Ijebu-Ode, and Odeda, among others. In a move to strengthen traditional institutions, the council has also upgraded and recognized several chieftaincies, reflecting Governor Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to sustainable development and urban regeneration.
