Flash Flood Warning Issued in Southern New Hampshire Amid Heavy Rainfall
A flash flood warning has been issued for parts of southern New Hampshire, including southeastern Merrimack County, southwestern Strafford County, southern Hillsborough County, and Rockingham County. The National Weather Service reports that these areas have already received between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain, with additional rainfall expected at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. The warning is in effect until 11:15 a.m. and affects communities such as Manchester, Nashua, Durham, Exeter, and Bedford. Highways in the affected area include Interstates 93 and 293. Residents are advised to avoid driving through flooded roadways.
