California Family Reunites with Lost Cat After Seven Years
A California family has been reunited with their cat, Dodger, seven years after he went missing during a cross-country move. The Davidsons adopted Dodger in 2016, and he quickly became a beloved member of the family. In 2018, following the death of the children's father, the family planned to move to Florida and arranged for Dodger to be transported with their belongings. However, Dodger disappeared before the journey began. Years later, Dodger was found in Madera, California, and brought to Fresno Trap and Release for neutering. Staff discovered he had already been neutered and had a microchip, which led them to contact the Davidsons, who had since moved to Georgia. The family drove seven hours to Florida to reunite with Dodger, marking a miraculous end to their long search.
