Las Vegas Faces Extreme Heat Warning with Temperatures Near 111 Degrees
The Las Vegas Valley is experiencing a severe heat wave, with temperatures expected to reach between 107 and 112 degrees over the weekend. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday, with Heat Advisories for local mountain areas. Overnight temperatures are forecasted to remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s, compounded by high humidity levels. In the Mt. Charleston area, temperatures are also above normal, with highs in the mid-80s to around 90 degrees. There is a slight chance of afternoon or evening storms, primarily over higher terrain.
