NFL Biosciences to Present Personalized Medicine Approach for Smoking Cessation at SFT Congress
NFL Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical company, will present its personalized medicine strategy for smoking cessation at the 20th Congress of the Société Francophone de Tabacologie (SFT). The presentation, titled "Baseline IgG1 Levels as a Candidate Predictive Biomarker of NFL-101 Efficacy in Smoking Cessation: A Post-hoc Analysis of the CESTO2 Phase II Randomized Controlled Trial," was selected for an oral presentation by the SFT Scientific Committee. This work focuses on identifying a candidate predictive biomarker, specifically baseline specific IgG1 levels, to better target smokers who are likely to respond to treatment with NFL-101. The Congress, themed "Tabac: tous embarqués!", is scheduled for September 24 and 25, 2026, at the Couvent des Jacobins, Rennes Métropole Convention Center. It serves as a significant event for French-speaking tobacco control professionals, including physicians, tobacco treatment specialists, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and researchers.
