Artist Michelangelo Pistoletto Promotes 'Preventive Peace' Through Global Public Art Project
Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto has launched a new public art project titled 'Three Mirrors,' which is being displayed on digital billboards in nine cities worldwide. This initiative, organized by the UK-based digital art platform Circa, aims to convey the concept of 'preventive peace' in response to current geopolitical tensions. The project features three works that reflect Pistoletto's artistic philosophy, The Third Paradise, which seeks to harmonize opposing forces such as war and peace. The artworks are shown daily at 20:26 local time in cities including London, Los Angeles, and Seoul, with additional screenings in Milan and Rome starting April 24. The project also includes a series of signed editions, with a portion of the proceeds supporting public and educational programs and the United Nations Global Emergency Response Fund.
