Candidates must be U.S. citizens and meet specific educational and experience requirements, including a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting or finance. The role requires obtaining a Top Secret Security Clearance and passing a Suitability Review Panel determination. FMOs are responsible for budget preparation, accounting, payroll, and other financial management tasks.
