This incident bears a resemblance to a previous event on December 22, 2024, when suspects used a large piece of construction equipment to steal a drive-through ATM from another Wells Fargo Bank in Baltimore, located on Sinclair Lane. The August 16 incident remains under investigation by Baltimore Police.

A thief stole cash from an ATM after breaking into a 7-Eleven store in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia early Tuesday morning. According to police, the suspect used a stolen white Ford pickup truck to back into a concrete trash can outside the store, then exited the vehicle and broke a front window. The individual then proceeded to rip open the ATM inside and steal the cash. An employee was present in the store during the burglary and sought refuge in a back room, calling 911. Police later recovered the stolen truck, abandoned and with its engine running, on the 3300 block of Disston Street, a short distance from the 7-Eleven. The truck's owner confirmed it had been stolen overnight at gunpoint nearby.
