Nate Kim, a student from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, has won the 2026 Congressional Art Competition in Massachusetts' 3rd Congressional District. His oil painting, 'Midsummer Indolence,' will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year. The competition, sponsored by the Congressional Institute, aims to encourage artistic talent among high school students. Winners were announced at a reception at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, where U.S. Rep. Lori Trahan praised the students' creativity. The competition has been held annually since 1982, with over 700,000 participants to date.
