Telangana Minister Invites Malaysian Companies for Semiconductor Investments
D. Sridhar Babu, the Minister for Information Technology and Industries in Telangana, has extended an invitation to Malaysian companies to explore investment opportunities in the state's semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. This invitation was made during a meeting with a high-level delegation from Penang, Malaysia, led by Deputy Chief Minister YB Jagdeep Singh Deo. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and innovation. Telangana is positioning itself as a major hub for semiconductor design and electronics manufacturing, with proactive initiatives aimed at attracting global investments. The state government is committed to fostering collaborations that promote innovation, economic growth, and skill development.
