Belarusian Woman Receives Apartment After Appeal to President Lukashenko Following Birth of Triplets
Angelina Kaminskaya, a resident of Belarus, was gifted an apartment after she appealed to President Alexander Lukashenko. Kaminskaya, who gave birth to triplets at the end of August, posted a video on Instagram (a platform banned in Russia and owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) on September 10, reminding President Lukashenko of his promise to women who give birth to triplets. She highlighted the rarity of her monochromatic triplets, stating such a pregnancy occurs in one in 200 million cases, and requested accommodation in Minsk. Her video garnered significant attention, accumulating over 600,000 likes and more than 20,000 comments. On September 26, Kaminskaya posted a follow-up video expressing gratitude to President Lukashenko for fulfilling his promise and resolving her family's housing issue, stating her children would grow up in a new apartment and their parents would feel confident about the future.
