Lawsuit Alleges 'Forever Chemicals' in Tampons Cause Severe Health Issues
A lawsuit filed in California by seven women against major feminine hygiene product companies claims that the products contain 'forever chemicals' and other harmful substances. These chemicals, known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), are alleged to cause severe reproductive health issues such as miscarriages, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), and chronic pain. The lawsuit targets companies like Procter & Gamble and Kimberly Clark Corporation, accusing them of failing to adequately test their products for safety and not disclosing the presence of potentially harmful chemicals. The plaintiffs argue that these products have significantly impacted their physical and emotional well-being.
