General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is actively recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer in Pittsfield, MA. This role is critical for establishing and implementing a consistent cybersecurity engineering approach across a portfolio of simulation, test, training, and support systems for the Ohio-class fleet and future Columbia-class submarines. The engineer will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day cybersecurity systems engineering work, translating cybersecurity policies and risk decisions into system requirements, designs, and configurations. The position involves leading cybersecurity activities throughout the Risk Management Framework life cycle, including risk and vulnerability analysis, verification planning, and supporting authorization packages. Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least five years of experience, or a Master's degree with three years of experience, and a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred.
