Governor Hochul Announces Free Admission for SUNY Students at New York State Fair
Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that current and incoming students of the State University of New York (SUNY) will receive free admission to the Great New York State Fair on August 27, designated as Student Youth Day. This initiative aims to provide students with the opportunity to explore the fair's offerings, which include agricultural exhibits, performances, and educational activities. The fair, managed by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, is a longstanding tradition celebrating the state's agricultural heritage and community spirit. SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the fair as a platform for students to learn about New York's diverse opportunities.
