Jerusalem Expo Supports Young Immigrants Preparing for IDF Service Amid Rising Aliyah Inquiries
A recent expo in Jerusalem, named 'Olim Al Madim', brought together over 400 young immigrants aged 17 to 22, who are preparing for mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Organized by the Nefesh B’Nefesh-Friends of the IDF Lone Soldiers Program, in partnership with several Israeli organizations, the event aimed to assist these young individuals, many of whom will serve as lone soldiers without close family support in Israel. The expo provided practical guidance on enlistment procedures, service conditions, and academic opportunities. The event comes in response to a significant increase in Aliyah inquiries following recent conflicts, highlighting the commitment of these young immigrants to integrate into Israeli society through military service.
