Comedians Eric André and Clayton English Settle Racial Profiling Lawsuit Against Atlanta Airport Police
Comedians Eric André and Clayton English have reached a settlement in their lawsuit against Clayton County police, challenging a program at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The lawsuit, filed in October 2022, alleged racial profiling and illegal stops by police, particularly targeting Black passengers, as they were about to board flights. The settlement, announced Tuesday by the comedians' lawyers, does not include an admission of fault or liability from the county. However, it confirms that the program in question has been terminated and there are no plans to reactivate it.
