This decision follows allegations made by Shiraz that the pageant was rigged and that she faced threats from the franchise owner, Edgar Entertainment, to remain silent. The organization accused Shiraz of spreading inaccurate and misleading claims, which they say have caused reputational harm. Despite attempts to resolve the disputes, the organization determined it was no longer feasible to maintain a working relationship with Shiraz. They emphasized their commitment to supporting future Israeli representatives and moving past the public controversies.
