Powerball Jackpot Resets to $20 Million After Recent Wins in Kansas and Indiana
The Powerball jackpot has been reset to $20 million for the May 2 drawing following a $143 million win on April 29. The winning tickets were sold in Kansas and Indiana. In addition to the jackpot winners, nearly 90 players across 20 states won prizes ranging from $1 million to $2 million, with New Jersey having the highest number of big winners. Powerball, which has been played since 1992, is available in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Players select five white balls from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball from 1 to 26, with an optional 'Power Play' to increase non-jackpot prizes.
