Three Waldorf Residents Charged with Second-Degree Assault Following Neighbor Dispute Involving Garden Gnome and Stool
Three residents of Waldorf, Maryland, Christopher Lamount Key, 32, Habbygale Tetana Key, 30, and Stanley Allan Kramer, 65, have been charged with second-degree assault following a physical altercation that allegedly escalated from a neighbor dispute on August 28. According to Charles County court documents, the incident involved punches, a stool, and a garden gnome. The Keys, who are married, and Kramer, their neighbor, each provided conflicting accounts of how the confrontation began. Kramer alleged that Christopher Key attacked him with a garden gnome and a stool, forced him into his residence, and repeatedly punched him, even ripping an oxygen cord from his face. Kramer also accused Habbygale Key of punching him during the struggle. Conversely, Christopher Key claimed Kramer struck him first, prompting him to defend himself.
