Undocumented Immigrant from El Salvador Arrested in Virginia for Coworker's Stabbing Death
Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos, a 19-year-old undocumented immigrant from El Salvador, has been arrested in Great Falls, Virginia, in connection with the stabbing death of his coworker, 42-year-old Carmen Lizet Puch. Puch was found dead in a park parking lot on Monday. Investigators revealed that Cedillos-Campos and Puch had an 'intimate relationship.' The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Cedillos-Campos's immigration status, noting he was previously arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in 2024 after illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas. Police have not released further details regarding the circumstances that led to the stabbing.
